A Tree in Tuscany
The tree you gift becomes part of one of our restored Tuscan groves.
Once claimed, it is geo-tagged and photographed so the recipient can see where it stands within the grove and follow the season that shapes its harvest.
A handcrafted olive wood nameplate is created from reclaimed Tuscan olive wood and placed on the tree once it is ready.
The Harvest
A healthy olive tree in Tuscany, carefully harvested for quality, yields far less oil than most imagine.
Each tree typically produces two 500 ml bottles of extra virgin olive oil per year.
Exceptional extra virgin olive oil is shaped by restraint and expertise. It is rare, and the higher the quality, the rarer it becomes.
The oil recipients receive is grove-specific, shaped from the grove their tree helps sustain and crafted with a clear sensory vision each harvest.
Root Membership
Every gifted tree includes one year of Root Membership, beginning when the recipient claims their tree.
Through Root Membership, they receive:
- Letters and updates from the groves
- Invitations to tastings, gatherings, and harvest events
- Priority access to limited expressions such as Community Reserve and Founder’s Reserve
This membership connects them to the seasons, the harvest, and the people caring for these groves.

Before You Gift
You choose the day the gift is revealed.
The recipient can be notified immediately by email or on a scheduled date you select. You may also print the certificate and deliver the gift in person.
The guardianship begins once the recipient claims their tree, while the harvest arrives later in the season.
Yes.
Each gifted tree includes a handcrafted olive wood nameplate with a custom inscription, along with a personal message from you.
Each nameplate is handcrafted from reclaimed Tuscan olive wood and made individually for the tree.
Production typically takes two to three weeks. Once completed, the nameplate is placed on the tree and recorded in the recipient’s member area.
Olive oil follows the rhythm of the harvest in Tuscany.
Harvest takes place in autumn, and shipments are typically sent early in the new year (January–February).
The gift includes one year of guardianship and Root Membership, beginning when the recipient claims their tree.
At the end of that year, the recipient may choose to renew guardianship of the tree and continue caring for it and receiving its harvest.
If the guardianship is not renewed, the tree simply returns to community care.
Every grove has a natural limit.
When every tree is under care, access closes until another grove is restored.
